Travel insurance

Although every effort is made, Bunyip Tours shall not be liable for any illness, damages, loss or delay that may occur due to factors beyond our control. We highly recommend all passengers have travel insurance coverage.

Cancellation Policy

For any single day tour bookings, no cancellation fees will apply for changes made up to 24 hours before your tour departure time. Cancellation within 24 hours of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare.

Guest cancellation/date change of any multi day tour in less than 7 days but more than 3 days prior to a departure time will result in a 50% refund of the tour fare.  Cancellation within 3 days of tour departure or failure to take up a booked tour will result in a 100% forfeiture of the tour fare.

Please note also that a “cancellation” includes a change to the date of a tour booking that requires the original booking to be cancelled.

Tour prices & itineraries

Bunyip Tours retains the right to alter itineraries, fares and may cancel tours in unforeseen circumstances. All fares and itineraries correct at time of printing.

Child policy

Children’s’ prices apply for all travellers aged 0-15 years.

All travelling persons must book and have their own seat allocated for use.

We are able to provide an infant seat (0-3 years) or a child booster seat (4-8 years) free of charge. Please note we have only a limited number available each day and they must be pre-booked. Kindly send a request to info@bunyiptours.com and provide the age of your child along with your confirmation number and booking details.

Any party arriving with undisclosed infants or children will be required to pay our child’s fare prior to board the touring vehicle. If there are no seats available for any undisclosed guests to occupy, the entire travelling party may be denied the opportunity to travel and will forfeit their fares.

Please note that if you are travelling with children on one of our multi-day tours you will need to choose the private room option as dorm style accommodation cannot be offered as it is not suitable. Portable cots can be provided on request for infants but must be arranged prior to the date of departure directly with Bunyip Tours. Parents must provide bedding (i.e. blankets, sheets).

Luggage restricton

10kg luggage limit on multi day tours returning to Melbourne
20kg luggage limit on tours travelling to Adelaide
Please note that there is no storage space available for large luggage or prams on any day tours

Minimum guest numbers for guaranteed departure

Bunyip Tours requires a minimum number of people booked on tours in order to be able to operate. If tours do not meet minimum numbers Bunyip reserves the right to cancel that tour departure. Bunyip will do this with as much advance notice as possible and inform affected guests so that alternative arrangements may be made.
