Q: What are the Queen Victoria Night Markets all about?
The night markets are a great place for local and international visitors to meet, hang out, shop, eat and be entertained at night time.

The Summer Night Market has been running for 21 years. The Winter Night Market just had its 6th season and our newest Night Market Hawker 88 had its first season in spring this year.
The night markets are a great place to explore!
Rainbow Pops are great for summer!
Q: Is it easy to get to the Night Markets?
The market is in the free tram zone so if you’re in the city it costs nothing to get here. We also have a car park on site so you can park close to the Market ,and in addition, Flagstaff and Melbourne Central train stations are only a short walk away.
Q: What months do the markets operate?
The Summer Night Market runs from November to March, the Winter Night Market from June to August and our new spring night market, called Hawker 88 Night Market runs during September and October.
Q: What time are they open?
5pm till 10pm
Q: What food and drink options are available for the upcoming Summer Night Market?
Foodwise – something really cool we have is the flying noodles which you might have seen on Instagram, they are very insta-famous right now! There are so many delicious food options to choose from but some of our recommendations for this season are pierogi which are yummy Polish dumplings, Geloso with their home-made gelati, Wonderbao, and Taki’s Balls delicious donuts.
For drinks – Brick Lane are pouring beers, they have Base Lager and One Love Pale Ale. Coldstream Cider is available as well and we have Mitchelton winery providing their amazing wines and their new PREECE Prosecco Spritz. There’s also soft drinks and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase of course.

Q: What sort of entertainment is on offer?
There is different entertainment each week including live bands and acoustic performances, plus this year we have Melbourne’s first summer ice skating rink during December, called the Air Canada Ice Rink.
Q: Can you pay by card at the night market or are there ATMs available?
Some vendors definitely have card facilities but not all. There are multiple ATM machines on site so it’s easy to get cash out.
Q: What’s your favourite thing to do at the night market?
I have different things I like to do at each market. At the Winter Night Market I love the silent disco where you put headphones on and run around the market dancing, enjoying the fire pits and sipping mulled wine.
At the Hawker 88 Night Market I love the street food and the big communal tables, it really feels like you’re in Asia.
At the Summer Night Market I think the best thing is hanging out with friends, enjoying great street food on a balmy Melbourne summer evening.

Q: Is there anything else you feel like we’ve missed out on or something you’d like to let everyone know?
Well this year we have a summer playground with plenty of backyard style games like giant Jenga , totem tennis and chess as well for all the families and friends to enjoy.
Awesome! Thanks so much for your time!
Thankyou
