WILSONS PROMONTORY NATIONAL PARK

Wilson Promontory is a national park located approximately 2.5 hours south-west of Melbourne. It’s easily visited in a day trip from Melbourne. The park is home to an array of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and emus. It has mountains covered in thick eucalyptus forest which contrasts with the white sandy beaches and turquoise ocean. It is a lesser-known destination compared to the Great Ocean Road, but it is well worth the trip to avoid the crowds and see the pristine natural landscape.

MT BISHOP HIKE

On tour we take the trail to the top of Mt Bishop. The round trip can take up to 1.5 hours as it is approximately 3.7 km to the top. We pack our lunches and carry them up so we can have a picnic at the top. The reward at the summit is the incredible landscape that is laid out before you. The panoramic views take in the mountains, forest and bushland. You can also see the Tidal River below and the view from the sandy beaches out across the ocean to the offshore islands.

It is truly a memorable part of the day tour.  Come and join us on our Wilsons Promontory Tour.
